Ripasso Mariabella / Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella / Valpolicella, Italy / 14% ABV
Angela Velenosi, when she was just 20, took advantage of an Italian government agricultural project aimed at convincing young people to move from the cities back to the countryside, and started a vineyard with two wines and just nine hectares of land. She now produces 34 wines on 148 hectares of land, and has brought critical acclaim to the lesser-known region of Marche. This rosé has an intense bouquet: initially light floral scents of roses and violets slowly become more distinct along with notes of small red fruit like red currant and raspberry. As for the taste, you'll notice the full structure typical of the variety (Montepulciano), distinguished by its pleasant freshness.
